AsianInvestor celebrated its 2016 annual regional awards with winners on May 26 in Hong Kong.
The AsianInvestor Asset Manager of the Year award recognizes the best overall asset management firm in Asia Pacific – the firm which demonstrates the best combination of business strategy, execution, investment performance, asset gathering, innovation and success. The Best Business Development award acknowledges the winning firm’s success in raising assets in the Asia-Pacific region from an organisational, product, performance and execution perspective.
At the award presentation dinner, Andrew Lo, Senior Managing Director and Head of Asia Pacific, and Terry Pan, CEO of Greater China, accepted the respective awards for Invesco. In his acceptance speech, Andrew Lo said that the firm's success – both in terms of winning this award as well as the overall success of the firm in Asia-Pacific – has been built on a deep understanding of the needs of Invesco’s Asia-Pacific clients, be it sovereign wealth funds, public or private pensions, financial institutions or intermediaries, as well as the commitment to deliver Invesco's breadth of customised solutions to align with their unique set of investment objectives. Andrew also thanked the Invesco leadership team and colleagues across the globe for their many contributions to achieve these distinctions.
The recognition bestowed upon Invesco by AsianInvestor, a leading regional asset management publication, reflects the spirit of the Invesco Purpose, i.e. that a pure focus on investment management and delivering a superior client experience is a strong differentiator in the ultra-competitive Asia Pacific marketplace.
